Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Abushaikha Hospitality Consultancy wants every hotel owner, investor and advisor to be able to use this site and its free tools — the Investment Studio calculator, the HMA scorecard and the AOIP platform — regardless of ability or technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we publish, not a one-off project, and we aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the internationally recognised benchmark referenced by the Saudi Persons with Disabilities Law and by EN 301 549 / ADA-style obligations our international clients follow.
Conformance status
The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The large majority of content — all static pages, both languages, the registration flow and the tool interfaces — is built with semantic HTML, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus states, text alternatives for informative images, and a colour system designed for contrast. Some interactive outputs of the calculator (charts and long data tables) are not yet fully consumable by screen readers, which is the main outstanding gap described below.
Measures we take
Bilingual pages are marked up with the correct language and direction (lang, dir="rtl" for Arabic) so screen readers switch voices correctly. Every page provides a skip-to-content link and a logical heading structure. Forms use real labels, required-field indication, and error messages in text next to the field. Interactive tools are operable by keyboard, and no content relies on colour alone to convey meaning. Fonts are loaded with font-display: swap, text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of function, and no element traps keyboard focus. Motion is limited to subtle transitions, and nothing flashes.
Known limitations
Charts inside the Investment Studio and sample dashboard render results visually; we provide the same figures as text or tables wherever possible, but complex scenario charts may not yet have complete long descriptions. Automated WCAG audits are run on templates, yet manual screen-reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver) across every tool state is still in progress. If you meet a barrier that is not listed here, it helps us close it faster.
Feedback
If you encounter any accessibility barrier, or need content from this site in another format (large print, accessible PDF, or read-out summary), contact sharif@abushaikha-consultancy.com or call +966 56 658 4679. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and to provide the requested content in an accessible alternative in the meantime.
